'Red Thread Tied' is the first solo show by artist Zelyss, focused around the favorite children's fairytales that we all more or less grew up with. Expect to see Zelyss' female characters with their melancholic big eyes, seeking for the sad side of their tale to explore...
The show will open to the public on July 11th and the works will be presented at full to this website then. At the moment you can take a sneak peek of the process behind the scenes, and get a taste of how everything is created.

Here is a glimpse on how it all happens.
Painting the picture is not what it is all about. The process is so much more. Take a look...
Zelyss has grown up among pencils, paint tubes and paper, with her mind filled with fairytales. She is a contemporary artist whose artwork delicately balances between Romanticism and polished Pop-Surrealism.
Her paintings depict serene, melancholic girls with evident innocence flooding out of their big, liquid eyes. Occasionally they flash a bit of a smile, just to give a whisp of optimism to the dark world that surrounds us.
